地域の食材をふんだんに使ったバイキングレストランと、特産物やその加工品が並んだ物販コーナー。
毎朝、新鮮とりたて野菜が格安で並ぶ販売所も充実。秋には黒豆の刈り取り体験イベントも実施。

地域の拠点としてのイベントも多く開催しています。
「往年の名車大集合（4月）」、「げんき・げんき祭り（11月）」、「新春駅伝大会（1月）」など。
毎月11日（休館日の場合は翌日）は、ささやま手創り市を開催。
